The Mayo Family Foundation, founded by Simer and Vicki Mayo in 2019, is dedicated to creating a lasting impact across the globe. With a focus on eradicating food insecurity, empowering at-risk youth, and advancing women’s equality, the Foundation strives to transform lives and foster a brighter future for all.
We envision a world where concerns about the next meal, a safe place to sleep, or access to healthcare become a thing of the past. Our goal is to provide long-term solutions that will build stronger, more resilient individuals and communities.
A child at risk is less likely to transition to adulthood successfully. Our mission is to equip our youth with the tools needed for academic achievement and job readiness. These tools are key to securing a future marked by financial stability and high hopes of becoming a positive member of society.

We strive for a society where women have equal access to opportunities and resources, enabling them to thrive both personally and professionally. Our goal is to support initiatives that break down barriers to gender equality, ensuring women can participate fully in all aspects of life. By partnering with organizations dedicated to women's empowerment, we aim to provide essential support services, advocate for women's rights, and create pathways to education, employment, and leadership roles, fostering a more inclusive and equitable future for all.

There are 1.4 billion people in India, of which 72% of the population lives in rural areas. Burn units are unheard of in the rural sectors of the country. The Mayo Family Foundation aims to change this, by working on several projects, including adding burn units to hospitals across rural India.
In 2021, the Mayo Family Foundation orchestrated the largest public-private partnership rescue effort out of Afghanistan. In just 147 hours, we successfully rescued 147 Afghan women who are now settled in the United States. Our foundation actively manages their cases. Join us in commemorating the two-year withdrawal anniversary without media tour.
Afghan Girls Next Chapter (AGNC) is an inspiring initiative that amplifies the voices of Afghan women who have long been marginalized and silenced. Rescued from the clutches of the Taliban, these courageous women were once denied opportunities, education, and basic human rights. Today, they thrive as scholars in the United States, a transformation made possible by the invaluable support of the Mayo Family Foundation, which facilitated their journey from Afghanistan to the U.S.
These women deserves a platform where they can share their stories, experiences, and aspirations with the world, and AGNC is that beacon of hope. Engaging with AGNC means actively participating in spreading awareness and championing the rights and voices of Afghan women, ensuring they are heard and empowered.
